Annual General Meeting 2025

The 2025 Annual General Meeting was held last night at Olney RFC. We had a very good attendance, thank you to all those that took the time to come along and support the Society.

The meeting started which apologies for absence and was followed by a presentation of the 2024 AGM Minutes, these were deemed accurate and there were no matters arising. The 2024 minutes were duly accepted by the meeting.

With the exception of the Treasurer, the various members of the Executive had provided their report prior to the meeting and these had been duly published for the members attention. The treasured gave his report in person and the upshot is that the Society is in a "health" financial position.

Election of the Society Executive Committee followed. in all cases there was only one nominee for each post and with the exception of Treasurer the incumbent was reelected to post as follows...

After many years service Gary Malpas has decided to step down as Treasurer. A new Treasurer is therefore required. There was only one nomination and that person was duly elected as follows...

Treasurer Matt Smith

The Society would like to thank Gary, along with Ron Gore, for their service over the past years. Together they have run the finances and expenses of the Society with aplomb.

It will be the case that certain members will be asked to assist the executive, there people will be asked and appointed at the next meeting of the executive.

If any member has any matters they wish to bring before any member of the Executive, please do so in writing. Their contact details may be found on WTR. The matter will then be discussed at the next executive meeting.

No other matters for discussion were brought before the meeting and the meeting was therefore concluded.

The 2025 minutes will be prepared and circulated in due course.
